Dalton Sharpe is a filmmaker, writer, producer, assistant director, and visual artist from Virginia, currently based in New York City. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Dalton is passionate about creating character-driven stories that explore themes of family, perseverance, identity, and the American experience. Drawing inspiration from film, television, literature, and interactive media, he lives by the belief that storytelling has the power to influence and simply leave a lasting impact.
Throughout his education and professional experience, Dalton has worked across nearly every stage of the production process. From story development, concept art, and storyboarding to scheduling, call sheets, logistics, and on-set leadership, he has developed a strong understanding of how creative ideas are transformed into finished productions. His experience includes producing, directing, writing, and assistant directing narrative films, while also supporting projects through pre-production planning, crew management, and production coordination. He has an understanding of the pipline, an immense attention to detail, extensive organizational skills, and is proficiency with industry software from Slack to Studio System to InEntertainment.
In addition to filmmaking, Dalton maintains an extensive background in digital and traditional illustration, animation, and visual development. Whether developing series concepts, creating promotional artwork, building story worlds, or managing complex productions, he is driven by a desire to bring ambitious ideas to life through preparation and strong creative leadership. As he continues his career in film and television, Dalton remains focused on developing original stories while contributing to productions in creative, logistical, and lead roles. He has an eagerness to be involved in the distribution, development, and corporate side of the industry.
